A lot of people wanted to learn how to draw in the splatoon way, (Which is pretty piece of cake for me), and then I decided I would make a guide!

==Where  to start==

Of course I'm no proffesional, since I'm still doing my second attempt, but I suggest you reference official art first. All-time if it is a total torso and has another particular/weapon for practice in both skills. I suggest the official art for Marie'south Splatoon 2 outfit or anything shut.  DON'T REFERENCE THE SPLATFEST ART WITH OFF THE HOOK OR THE SQUID SISTERS. THOSE ARE DIFFERENT STYLES. Although they seem close to the official art, it is not the same fashion as it.

Brushes to use?

Nigh of the people on this wiki utilise drawing programs that allow you to import your own brushes, so I suggest using these brushes: https://www.deviantart.com/tamarinfrog/art/Splatoon-Brush-541152954

If you lot take a drawing program that doesnt allow you lot to import brushes such equally Ibis Paint, I propose making your own one! (In Ibis Paint, you can simply play with the default brushes, but you can yet brand some!) I advise getting a shape with a lot of squares and jitter on it for the main brush. For shading, I suggest finding a brush that has spots that it doesn't fully erase. The shape volition work best if it is a triangle, but yous can always shave the brush stroke to be as shut to a triangle you can make!

How to get-go

Similar I said before, I'm no professional, so this won't be the best tutorial. (I forgot to accept multiple pictures QwQ I'm sorry if it goes to fast because my lack of photos-)

I propose you lot commencement sketch the torso of the drawing out. This drawing was a practice examination with the Marie ref. I advise going with a bolder color for the hands in case you need any assist with hands.
